University Town Center continues to grow, with 12 new retail, dining, fitness, and lifestyle businesses planned across the property. The latest additions will bring more than 86,000 square feet of new commercial space to one of the region's most popular shopping and entertainment destinations.

Several new restaurants and quick service concepts are expected to open in the coming months. Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza is scheduled to open this summer near Mission BBQ, while Just Salad will join it nearby at The Market at UTC. Pure Green is also on the way, offering healthy smoothies and wellness-focused menu options. Playa Bowls is planned for The West District, and Zen Dumpling will be opening at The Shoppes at UTC.

Home furnishings are another major focus of the expansion. West Elm is currently under construction and will occupy an 18,000-square-foot space next to L.L. Bean. The store will offer furniture, décor, lighting, textiles, and home accessories. IKEA is also preparing to open later this summer, bringing thousands of home products to UTC along with its popular Swedish Bite café.

Fitness and specialty retail continue to expand as well. Body Hot Pilates will open along the Cattlemen Road corridor, while LaserAway is coming to The Market at UTC. Pure Hockey is adding a 6,000-square-foot location at The Square at UTC, creating another destination for sports enthusiasts.

At The Mall at UTC, shoppers can look forward to James Avery Artisan Jewelry and ScandyCandy, while construction continues on the highly anticipated Dick's House of Sport.

The recent openings of Kitchen Social and Blu Kouzina have already added new dining options to the area, and these latest announcements further strengthen UTC's position as the region's premier retail and entertainment hub.

Located along the Sarasota and Manatee county line, University Town Center now encompasses more than 4 million square feet of commercial space, featuring over 250 stores, more than 80 restaurants, three hotels, and extensive office space. With continued investment and expansion, UTC remains one of the most significant economic and lifestyle centers in Southwest Florida.
