September was an action-packed month, both in real estate and in life. From record-breaking sales and rollercoaster closings to new listings and personal adventures, it was full of wins, challenges, and plenty of memorable moments.
Closing My Biggest Listing Yet
Pop the champagne because 4803 Cabreo Court is officially sold for $1,333,000, my biggest listing yet! After 333 days on the market, over 30 open houses, countless showings, and even one deal that fell apart because the buyers’ guests could not play enough rounds of golf during high season, we finally found the perfect buyer.
This sale was a marathon, but persistence and going above and beyond made all the difference. From swapping lightbulbs to pulling weeds and even checking the property during storms, every detail mattered. My sellers stayed patient, trusted the process, and in the end, it paid off.
Helping First-Time Buyers Tackle New Construction
I also helped first-time buyers finally get the keys to their new construction home. The process was far from smooth. Between delays, inspection issues, and even a day where my buyers signed all the paperwork but could not get the keys because the builder did not have the Certificate of Occupancy ready, it was a wild ride.
We pushed through. I even had a garage door opener installed for them, and seeing their smiles when they finally moved in made every frustrating moment worth it. Buying new construction can be tricky, but with the right guidance, it is possible to cross the finish line with keys in hand.
A New Listing in the Rosemary District
September also brought a new opportunity. I secured a listing agreement on a condo in Sarasota’s hottest downtown neighborhood, the Rosemary District. This listing goes live October first, and I am excited to showcase this move-in ready property in one of the city’s most walkable, vibrant areas.
Esplanade Open House Extravaganza
The month also included preparing for our monthly Esplanade Open House Extravaganza on October 4th and 5th from 12 to 4 PM both days. This is your chance to tour multiple homes in Esplanade Golf and Country Club at Lakewood Ranch. No appointment needed. Personal Highlights
Outside of real estate, September was full of celebration and fun. I traveled to Wisconsin for my best friend’s bachelor party and wedding, celebrated a few friends’ birthdays, finally upgraded to a brand-new washer and dryer, and made my first trip to Volcano Bay, Universal’s water park. It was a great mix of adventure, adulting wins, and memorable experiences.
